Editor-only tool, Windows (Win64), Unreal Engine 5.8. Exported AnimSequences are standard assets and work on every target platform.

Code modules: MotionForgeRuntime (Runtime): motion index row type and Sequencer track. MotionForgeCore (Editor): recipe/result assets, generation, constraints, clean-up, BVH/raw import, export. MotionForgeStudio (Editor): Recipe editor UI, retargeting, Jobs, Sequencer and level tools, Content Browser actions, automation tests. All Win64.

Dependencies (engine plugins MotionForge enables, all included with UE 5.8): IK Rig (retargeting), Control Rig (AutoPose, baking), Editor Scripting Utilities (creating and saving assets), NNE Runtime ORT (optional, Bricks tab only).

Bundled third-party code, in Source/ThirdParty/KimodoCpp: prebuilt DLLs of kimodo.cpp (Apache-2.0) and ggml (MIT), with no Unreal dependencies, loaded in-editor as libraries (a Vulkan set and a CPU set). The plugin launches no programs and contains no executables.

First-time download: the Setup Wizard downloads the model weights (~16 GB, public Hugging Face mirrors, no account) after you accept the NVIDIA Open Model License and Meta Llama 3 Community License. Generation then runs entirely on your machine. Built with Meta Llama 3.

GPU: optional. Uses Vulkan on current AMD, NVIDIA or Intel GPUs, else the CPU.

Optional external tools you install yourself from their official sites: Blender or Cascadeur (Send to Blender / Cascadeur round trip).

Also included: SOMA77 skeleton/body derived from NVIDIA Kimodo (Apache-2.0); Base Male/Female (MakeHuman/MPFB2, CC0); Studio bodies (Blender Studio, CC0). Optional demo only: Epic's Manny and Quinn. Notices: Docs/NOTICES.md.
