Disclosure Statement
This disclosure statement discusses ranking practices, data access policies, and EU Platform to Business Regulation 2019/1150, and as retained in United Kingdom law ("P2B Regulation") complaint handling procedures of Fab.
Ranking
To help our users more easily navigate Fab to find products that are interesting and relevant, we sometimes organize products for display to users. We weigh different parameters that inform the display order of products to users in the following contexts:
- Algorithmic Featuring. When Epic features Products algorithmically (see Section (c) below), the main parameter that factors into its featuring will be
- Publication date
- User text search terms
- Content sales within a given period
- User applied-filters (like price, relevant promotions, content features, platforms, alphabetical order, content type, content tags or content categories and other filter functionalities available for users in Fab's "Filters" feature at the time)
- Most downloaded content from the same seller
- Editorial Featuring. Epic uses its editorial and business judgment to decide and periodically update its decisions to feature content on Fab. When Epic curates content for editorial featuring, the main parameters that our editorial team focuses on include:
- Listing quality
- Uniqueness
- Compatibility with different formats
- Appeal to current and prospective users
- Anticipated seasonal popularity
- Seller's profile's quality: we look at completeness of profiles, variety of themes and types of content
- Where Algorithmic Featuring and Editorial Featuring Are Used. On Fab, user search results and the following lists:(i) Trending and (ii) “Related Content” feature visible while viewing a product page are all exclusively algorithmically determined using the main parameters described above in Section (a) (Algorithmic Featuring). Fab may curate results on other surfaces on Fab, like promotional content Breakers, using the editorial featuring parameters described above in Section (b) (Editorial Featuring). On Fab, "Breaker" is a horizontally organized grouping of content with product images in a landscape orientation.
- Advertising. At this time, we do not permit developers to pay Epic for advertisements to increase the visibility of their content in Fab

We may also share de-identified information related to completed orders to enable you to verify purchases and provide product support.
Other than the aggregate information described below, Epic does not provide access to personal or other data generated by other third-party developers through their use of Fab to you.

Complaints Handling and ADR
Under the P2B Regulation, if you are established in the European Union or United Kingdom and sell to Users in the European Union or United Kingdom on Fab, you can submit complaints to us at P2BComplaints@epicgames.com with the subject “Fab P2B Complaint” about:
- Epic's alleged non-compliance with the P2B Regulation that affects you
- Technological issues directly related to Epic's provision of Fab that affect you
- Epic's behavior or measures taken by Epic which relate directly to Epic's provision of Fab and that have affected you
While we hope we're able to resolve complaints via the complaint-handling system above, the P2B Regulation also allows you to pursue mediation as a means of resolving any disputes with us, including complaints that could not be resolved by means of our internal complaint-handling system. The P2B Regulation requires that each of us engage in any mediation in good faith.
If you would like to mediate a claim, we would be willing to try and reach an agreement by mediation administered by a panel of at least 2 mediators from the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. For more information on the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, please see: https://www.icdr.org/about_icdr.
