Ucode is a code editor inside the Unity Editor. It requires Unity 6.5 (6000.5) or newer and works with Built-in, URP, and HDRP projects on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Player builds are left unchanged.

C# IntelliSense (completion, go to definition, references, rename, and signature help) uses Microsoft's C# language server. That server is not in the package. Setup asks you to download it, about 60 MB, from Microsoft's public package feed, or to install a copy you already have. The Unity Editor starts it on the .NET that ships with Unity. Editing, highlighting, formatting, Unity's compiler errors, and inspections work before it is installed.

Hot reload applies the methods you change when you save, in Edit Mode and Play Mode, without a domain reload. It needs Unity's package com.unity.nuget.mono-cecil. Ucode adds that package only when you ask it to. Some changes still need a domain reload, such as a new script or a new serialized field. Ucode tells you why and reloads for you.

The Source Control view uses Git already installed on your machine.

The package includes the Ucode user guide. For help, write to support@ugamesoft.dev.

Usage and error sharing are off unless you turn them on during setup or in Settings. Ucode never sends your code, file names, or project paths.

Third-party icons and the Inter and JetBrains Mono fonts are listed in Third-Party Notices.txt inside the package.
