My name is Igor Puškarić , Art director, Concept designer, 3D animator,3D generalist, teacher, with over 16 years of proffesional experience in the game industry. Sketchfab alias: Iggy-design ABOUT ME: Igors CV with links: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mlFg95-F7-NO-R28KU_ogN-JFTfDb2ch/view?usp=drive_link My name is Igor Puškarić, in my both professional practice and a hobby, I joyfully exist as a 3D generalist doing freelance, while also developing and selling my own 3D modeling designs across the entire world. My "3D generalism" encompasses 3D modeling, developing 2D and 3D visual ideas and concepts, basic rigging and 3D animation. Prior to entering the 3D world, I finished Technical school, as an electronics technician. Worked for a couple of years as a shipyard pipesmith at "Uljanik" Pula, followed by the same thing in the Netherlands for a few months. After that, i re-qualified myself into a CNC programmer. As a professional Artist, I am a part of several art related local non-profit groups, and a part of Game dev related community for over 16 years. During that period, this path took me almost across the entire Planet, out of which I would specially mention the trip to USA, visiting two major game conventions as an exhibitor for the project we were building, called Novus Aeterno. These conventions were PAX_East and PAX_West, Boston and Seattle in 2011 and 2012. My work has been showcased in all sorts of different promos, pertaining an array of products, out of witch I would specially mention one of the promo videos for a generation of Nvidia`s RTX Graphic cards. Further on, my models have been showing up in a multitude of indie films , such as Melodysheeps- Beyond Life series, where I contributed with an utmost pleasure in both episodes, one and two. The first contribution was with an already made 3D modelled concept, and second was a purposeful design , intended specifically for that film/episode. My Biomechanical Whale 3D Model, for me is one of the most popular and the most sold models to this date, and one of its most noticeable public appearances was in the Pawnishers "ALTERNATE REALITIES" challenge... My models in general were widely used in games, VFX courses promos like Rebelway, illustrated poems collections like Pictoria 3 and so on and so on... I also had some lucky wins on several art challenge contests, a couple of interviews and podcasts, where i presented both my work and projects I worked on, like on 8-th of August, 2014, I had my very First public intervju as an artist, done with the "Vanishing Point", an online 3D modeling blog. https://www.vanishingpoint.biz/artistspotlight.asp?ArtistID=8 - September 3rd, 2014. I completely produced the trailer for the Cimmerian Space videogame: - March 7th, 2015-e I was featured at "Concept ships" Blog: - May 15th,2015 I was one of the speakers at Connector 3D conferrence on the week of design in Zagreb, Croatia: - October 21st, 2015 I won 3rd place on CGTraders Aliens Challenge - November 10th, 2015-e I was Featuread inside the IAMAG magazine: - November 11th 2015 I was invited to be interviewed by CG-Trader : - November 27-th, 2015-e I was featured on 3D-station - December 17-th, 2015, I was featured on Gameinformer magazine with my concept illustration: "Zelda- Legend Of Dead Space" - December 21st, 2015, I won First place on CGTraders challenge for the best Sci-Fi portfolio: - On March 7-th, 2016, I was chosen among 3 top dizajners of that week on CG trader - March 26-th, 2016 I did an interview with 3D Export - August 14-th, 2016 I won second place on CGTraders Low Poly Space Challenge - 2016- I was featured on Shapeway`s Designer Spotlight Blog: - October 18th 2016 , I was featured on CG trader, as a second place winner on the "Make printable" design challenge with my "Concept 3 for 3D print" 3D model design : - September 22nd 2016 I was featured on Tbrush Tuts , with my creation video mind flow, the Concepting a Monster Car: - 2017- Pixologic featured my work on spaceship design: - March 27-th 2017, I won 3rd place on the CGTraders great PBR challenge: - August 22-nd, 2017, I had an Art Spotlight article on Sketchfab: - September 10-th, 2018, I did a seller interview with Sketchfab: As i Started working on the "Tanks of the Galaxy" mobile game in 2018, i started my own business Iggy Design J.D.O.O. , in which I worked within the entire artistic pipeline, including creation of a Promo trailer and marketing posters production. - the Game Dev Unchained podcast on the fight to the top towards the gaming industry in Eastern Europe 2004 and 2005: - September 26 2019, I did a podcast episode with Game School Online, talking about my work on the "Tanks of the Galaxy" mobile video game, where I was the head 3D artist, animator, and did some concepts, along with the poster designs for promotional uses: - 2019 - I created an article with the word`s most famous gamedev CGI blog: "80 LVL" , titled: "Interview and breakdown - Creating beasts " : - February 27th - 2020, I won a "Daily deviation" on Deviant Art - September 8th 2020 , Nvidia used my 3D models in the promo video for their first RTX graphic cards: - My 3D model design, "Koberon 04": https://www.artstation.com/artwork/zPA62 , was used in a "Rebelway" companie`s VFX course: -2020 - I cooperated on contract bases with a series of independant film creators, such as Melodysheep , with my 3D model designs for his "Beyond Life" series. - 2022- I was the head 3D artist and a designer on the "Art future" project by "Equinox" : - September 19th 2022, I was featured on CGTrader as a Designer Spotlight interview : - I won the Daily deviation award on the "Deviant Art" art site: - On multiple occasions, I held a public showcase of my 3D printed designs in several conventions and galleries - The Croatian Reboot podcast, discussing on my contributions within space ship design for the game "Interstellar Space" , after which I also worked on its expansion DLC, named "Natural Law": One of the very sweetest happenings in my entire creative journey , was the fact of having my "Worker12", 3D animated model, being set on the very main page of the Sketchfab Platform, the worlds largest online 3D community on the planet, where it continues to exist to this day. :D Further more, I taught Zbrush at Machina game dev academy in Zagreb, and was a speaker at several digital art and design related conventions, including Design Week in Zagreb in 2015, Innet forum at Slavonskoi Brod in 2018 and gaming and Blockchain in Slavonski Brod in 2021, held by ConnectIT. I hosted several art exhibitions showcasing my 3D printed designs, 3D designs and traditional pencil works. In 2022 , I became a Sketchfab Master , and received some greater responsibilities across the platform, with a goal of social and artistic support overall, sending postcards, suggesting staff-picks for the more and more impressive work, incoming from the awesome members of Sketchfab community, etc... I have also cooperated with an educational institution "Algebra", on creating a brand new curriculum for Croatian schools in the domain of 3D technologies. In 2023 - I started the process of closing down my Iggy Design j.d.o.o. business and became a Blender educator / generalist / artist at Aniq d.o.o. , within an educational PISMO incubator center, where I joyfully continue to contribute today. On July 27-th 2023, I had the honor to be a lecturer at Blender Con, where along with my friend and collegue Conrad Justin, we publically elaborated on our mutual joint venture project, named:"Project Spark", which we produced to be ran live in realtime, on the Sketchfab Platform, which makes it the largest project of that nature in the world. The contextual theme of our presentation was: „Limitations of realtime 3D art, (interactive movie on the web)“. I am also the First Croat who pulled off something of this magnitude. 22. 01. 2024. - I represented PISMO incubator on an Algebra College`s public discussion panel, themed: "future perspectives of game development, where they also brought the legendary John Romero also known as the "Doom guy". From 25-th do 29-th of January, 2024, - I had the honor to be one of the 4 judges at a Global Game Jam in Montenegro.
