README - Quick Setup Guide

Thank you for purchasing Drink & Dock! Below are the essential steps to import the package and set up your scenes properly in Unity.

1. Importing the Package

Open your Unity project.

Go to Assets > Import Package > Custom Package.

Select DrinkAndDock.unitypackage and click Import.

2. URP & Graphics Setup

This package is pre-configured for the Universal Render Pipeline (URP).

Go to Edit > Project Settings > Graphics.

Assign the URP Asset found in Assets/URP/Settings/ to the Scriptable Render Pipeline Settings slot.

If your scene materials look incorrect or dark, open Edit > Project Settings > Quality and assign the same URP Asset to your active Quality Level.

3. Built-in Render Pipeline (Standard Renderer)

If you are using the default Built-in Render Pipeline instead of URP:

Select all materials located in Assets/URP/Materials/.

In the Inspector, change the Shader from Universal Render Pipeline/Lit (or Unlit) to Standard (or Mobile/Diffuse).

Re-assign the texture atlas to the Albedo slot if necessary.

4. Viewing & Focusing Objects in Scene View

When you open a showcase scene, the Scene View camera may not automatically point at the models.

Open the scene from Assets/URP/Scenes/.

In the Hierarchy window, select any object (for example, Showcase_Complete).

Move your mouse over the Scene View and press the F key on your keyboard to focus the camera directly on the selected object.
