Code Modules:

- DynamicRope (Runtime)

- DynamicRopeShaders (Runtime)

- DynamicRopeEditor (Editor)

Number of Blueprints: 27 (12 rope gameplay demos incl. BP_Rope, plus demo UI and Third Person template content)

Number of C++ Classes: 36 (plus ~105 internal native classes — solver, wrap logic, collision)

Network Replicated: No (single-player / local simulation)

Supported Development Platforms: Win64

Supported Target Build Platforms: Win64 (the GPU solve/render path requires a renderable RHI; a CPU fallback runs automatically when one is not available, e.g. dedicated servers or cooking)

Dependencies: Enhanced Input (engine built-in plugin, enabled automatically)

Example Content: 2 demo maps — snare trap, rescue helicopter, crank lever, pressure plate, basket goal, and AI wrap targets, each wired through Blueprint

Important Notes:

- Simulation runs locally; no built-in replication. For multiplayer you would replicate rope events yourself and simulate locally.

- Wrapped ropes follow skeletal animation and ragdoll; the ragdoll tether uses a standard Chaos physics constraint (no engine modifications required).

- Very long ropes (over 512 tube rings) automatically fall back to CPU tube building.

- C++ automation tests for the solver, wrap controller, and SDF sampler are included and runnable from Session Frontend (filter: "DynamicRope.").

- An in-editor authoring tool (Window → Rope SDF Authoring) is included for baking per-bone SDF collision volumes.
