I am a 3D artist and a woodworker, working somewhere on the border between the digital and the real world.
I create detailed 3D models in Blender, with a particular interest in furniture, architectural elements, wood carving, and various decorative objects.
Since I not only create 3D models but also actually work with wood, I look at 3D modeling a little differently. To me, a 3D model is not just a collection of polygons, but something that ideally could be made, carved, assembled, or built in the real world.
I like expressive shapes, good detailing, and well-thought-out geometry. I try not to turn every model into a mysterious mountain of millions of completely unnecessary polygons. Sometimes it even works.
Besides 3D modeling, I am the owner of the “Ель и дрель” workshop (https://vkrakotka.by), where I work with real wood, furniture, and wood carving. Because of this, digital modeling for me is closely connected with real craftsmanship.
You can see more of my work and projects on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/roman_skrinnik).
I really love computer games, especially older games with atmospheric worlds and distinctive design, such as Morrowind, Gothic, and Half-Life. I am particularly interested in game models, props, interior objects, architectural elements, and other individual assets that could fit naturally into computer games.
Here on FAB, I share models for visualization, design, games, and other projects. For the most part, I create things that I would personally find interesting to see and use.
If a model looks like it was made by hand, that is probably exactly the effect I was aiming for.
I’ll be glad to meet new people, discover interesting projects, and connect with those who share my approach to work. If you like my models and decide to purchase one, it is not only a way to support me as an author, but also a sign that my work has been useful to someone.
Thank you for visiting my profile! It’s great to see people here who are also interested in 3D, games, modeling, and real craftsmanship.
I hope you find something here that inspires you or becomes a useful part of your own project!
