■ Requirements

- Unreal Engine 5.5

- C++ project required (this plugin ships with source code, Blueprint-only projects are not supported)

- Depends on Unreal Engine's built-in "ProceduralMeshComponent" plugin (ships with the engine, not redistributed by this product)

■ How to Use

1. Copy the plugin into your project's Plugins folder and enable it

2. Place an IslandGenActor in your level

3. Adjust parameters in the Details panel (ruggedness, vegetation density, seed, etc.)

4. Press "Generate Island" — terrain, materials, and vegetation generate automatically

■ Key Features

- Fully procedural (fBm noise + thermal/hydraulic erosion simulation)

- Dendritic erosion valleys, rivers, cliffs, columnar jointing

- Automatic material blending by height, slope, and curvature masks

- Automatic tree/undergrowth placement with adjustable density

- Supports a black-and-white image mask for custom island outlines

- Vegetation-only changes skip the terrain pass for faster iteration

■ Licensing

All bundled textures and 3D models are CC0-licensed

■ Known Limitations

- Very large world sizes can take tens of seconds to a few minutes to generate
