The plugin is designed for creating pixel art, sprites, icons, props, UI art, animation strips, tile assets, isometric assets, and 3D-to-2D sprite workflows directly inside Unreal Engine.

Sprite Forge depends on Unreal Engine’s Paper2D plugin.

This plugin is not a gameplay framework, runtime sprite renderer, or replicated multiplayer system. It is a production tool for authoring and exporting 2D assets inside the Unreal Editor.
