About Me I’m Abdelbassit Bouazzaoui, a Senior Game Designer and Unreal Engine Developer with a multidisciplinary background spanning game development, technical game design, UI/UX, graphic design, interactive systems, and IT consulting. I have more than 12 years of professional experience in digital design and production, with my work gradually expanding into game development and the creation of reusable systems for Unreal Engine. As a developer, I work primarily with Unreal Engine, focusing on gameplay systems, Blueprint development, interaction systems, camera systems, level design, UI/UX, prototyping, optimization, and production tools. My approach to Unreal Engine development follows a simple principle: **A good system should integrate into your project — not force your project to integrate into it.** I build tools with existing production environments in mind. Whenever possible, my systems are designed to work alongside the gameplay architecture developers already have rather than requiring them to replace working components, rebuild their character architecture, or restructure an entire project around a marketplace asset. That philosophy is reflected in AutoFocus, my first product on Fab. AutoFocus was designed as a modular camera focus system that can enhance an existing Unreal Engine camera implementation without requiring the developer to replace that camera system. It represents the type of development tools I intend to publish on Fab: focused, modular systems designed to solve specific production problems with minimal disruption to existing projects. Development Philosophy When developing tools for Unreal Engine, I approach them from several perspectives. As a game designer, I want systems that can be configured and iterated quickly. As a developer, I care about architecture, dependencies, edge cases, debugging, maintainability, and performance. As a UI/UX designer, I want exposed parameters to be logically organized and understandable without requiring developers to reverse-engineer the system. And as someone working on actual game projects, I consider what happens when a tool leaves its demonstration environment and enters a production project containing existing characters, cameras, environments, gameplay systems, plugins, and project-specific logic. My products therefore emphasize: • Modular and reusable architecture • Minimal interference with existing project systems • Designer-friendly configuration • Organized Blueprint interfaces • Practical debugging tools • Performance-conscious implementation • Customization and extensibility • Clear documentation • Real production use cases • Continued maintenance and support I believe marketplace assets should ultimately be measured by how much development time they save. A system containing hundreds of functions has little value if integrating it requires rebuilding half of your project. I prefer focused tools that perform their intended job well, expose the controls developers actually need, and remain out of the way when they are not needed. Built From Production Experience The tools I develop are influenced by challenges encountered while building actual Unreal Engine projects. My game-development work has involved third-person gameplay, interaction frameworks, dialogue systems, AI-driven NPCs, mission and quest systems, inventory and save systems, camera systems, UI/HUD development, level design, environment development, mobile optimization, prototyping, and multi-platform production. I am also the co-founder of Forspex Entertainment, where I have worked on original games and prototypes across different genres. Working across both development and design has strongly influenced how I structure reusable systems. Tools need to satisfy technical requirements without sacrificing the workflow of designers who will use them repeatedly during production. My broader professional background also includes UI/UX and graphic design, web technologies, software systems, digital infrastructure, and IT consulting. This multidisciplinary experience influences both the technical architecture and presentation of the tools I create. ## What You Can Expect From My Fab Products My objective on Fab is to gradually build a catalog of **professional Unreal Engine tools and systems derived from real development requirements**. I intend to focus particularly on: • Gameplay systems • Camera and presentation tools • Blueprint components • Interaction systems • Technical game-design tools • Level-design utilities • AI and NPC systems • UI/UX systems • Production workflow tools • Performance-conscious gameplay solutions I prioritize modularity over unnecessary dependency. Whenever technically practical, you should be able to introduce one of my systems into your project without surrendering control over the systems you have already developed. Products are also intended to remain understandable. I do not believe a marketplace tool needs to become a black box simply because its internal implementation is complex. Configuration should be clear. Variables should have meaningful names. Categories should be organized logically. Common functionality should be easily accessible. Optional functionality should remain optional. Debugging should be practical. And documentation should explain both how to use the system and how it is intended to interact with your project. Support & Development Software inevitably encounters configurations that differ from the environment in which it was originally developed. Unreal Engine evolves, project architectures vary, and developers frequently combine systems from multiple sources. For that reason, documentation, maintenance, testing, and customer support are important parts of my development process. If you encounter a reproducible bug, compatibility issue, unexpected behavior, or have a technically relevant feature request, I encourage you to use the available support channels. Feedback from developers using these systems in production is particularly valuable because real projects expose scenarios that demonstration environments cannot always reproduce. My objective is straightforward: Build useful Unreal Engine tools. Save developers time. Integrate with what they have already created. Give them control over the result. AutoFocus is the first step toward that objective. More systems are planned as I continue developing, testing, and transforming solutions from my own Unreal Engine production work into reusable tools for other developers. Abdelbassit Bouazzaoui Senior Game Designer | Unreal Engine Developer | IT Consultant Co-Founder — Forspex Entertainment For the Fab seller profile, I prefer this version over the 9,000-word one. It positions you primarily as an Unreal Engine tool developer, while your graphic-design, IT, and consulting background serves as supporting credibility rather than distracting from what Fab customers are there to buy.
