The third chapter to Peculiar Materials is here! This mysterious collection of stylized Materials is designed for those who want their game to look unique, abstract, and perhaps even a bit strange, leaving some room for imagination on where and how to utilize them. Easy to reverse-engineer and/or customize! Simple and clean master material and material instances along with some useful comments.
The theme of this particular Peculiar Materials-pack is fractals. When tiled, these materials turn into cool patterns. The materials also have carefully designed emissive maps that can be utilized if needed. These same maps can also be used as opacity masks, making the background disappear. Experienced users may also take advantage of these "base shapes" when creating their very own new materials. The pack comes with an example for Parallax Occlusion but the materials work well with Tessellation too, highlighting only the largest shapes.

NOTE: Using 4k for every texture type is not optimal for most cases but there's a way to resize them inside Unreal Engine if needed. Just open any texture and change the LOD Bias from 0 to something else!
