Description
ColorBlock Apartment Block is a long residential prefab-style apartment block with colorful balconies, made for urban scenes, city-building projects and street-level renders. It works as a striking hero building or as background fill for larger cityscapes.
The .blend file contains two ready-to-use variants, both set up as assets in Blender's Asset Browser:
ColorBlock Apartment Block – No Air-Conditioner: the building with a clean facade
ColorBlock Apartment Block – Air-Conditioner: the same building with wall-mounted AC units, for more everyday realism
Drag either variant straight from the Asset Browser into your scene. There is no appending and no manual setup.
Adjustable balcony colors
The balcony material has a Hue and a Saturation control directly in the Material Properties. Use Hue to change the balcony colors, and lower the Saturation for a more muted, realistic look instead of bright primary colors. Place several ColorBlocks side by side and give each one its own color scheme for a varied street.
Illuminated windows and balconies
Selected windows and balconies have a Light Strength control (0–5) directly in the Material Properties. Set it to 0 for daylight renders, or turn it up for evening and night scenes.
Key features

Lighting / preview
The .blend file includes the free HDRI "fort_schanskop_morning" from Poly Haven (polyhaven.com) for the preview setup. It is licensed CC0 and can be used, modified or removed freely.
Note on export formats
The FBX and the converted GLB, glTF and USDZ files use simplified PBR materials with the original texture colors. The hue and saturation controls, adjustable lights and procedural bump are only available in the .blend file.

Architectural visualization, urban environments, game levels, city-building projects, street-level renders and background buildings.
