13 hand-crafted 8K space HDRIs for Unreal Engine 5 and Unity - cosmic cliffs, twin-core storms, supernova veils and molecular rifts. Drop one onto an HDRI Backdrop (Unreal) or a skybox material (Unity) and your whole scene is instantly lit, reflected and wrapped in a living starfield.

WHAT'S INSIDE

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Format: HDR (Radiance RGBE), plus 32-bit float EXR masters. Resolution: 8192 x 4096, equirectangular / longlat. 13 example maps/scenes included. No third-party plugins or packages required.

UNREAL ENGINE

Delivered as an asset package for Unreal Engine 5.2 or newer. Each example level uses an HDRI Backdrop actor and a tuned Post Process Volume. Enable the free HDRI Backdrop plugin (Edit > Plugins) - it ships with UE5, so no other plugins are needed.

UNITY

Also delivered as a .unitypackage for Unity 2022.3 LTS and newer, Built-In Render Pipeline. Includes 13 HDRIs as Cubemap textures, 13 Skybox/Cubemap materials, 13 example scenes and the EXR masters. No render-pipeline conversion, no post-processing, no scripts, no package dependencies.

USE CASES

Sci-fi environments, spaceship interiors, cinematics, product renders, title screens, VFX plates, lookdev and lighting studies.

Every gallery shot is the raw HDRI at a fixed exposure with no extra lights, so what you see is what you get.

Important: To open the Unreal example levels you must enable the FREE HDRI Backdrop plugin (created by Epic, already installed in UE5 - go to Edit > Plugins, search for it and tick Enable). The Unity example scenes need no setup.
