Multimedia 1 para anuncio Cobalt Loot Lab | Visual Loot Simulator, Pity & Blueprint Rewards

Descripción

Design your loot. Measure the odds. Deliver rewards through Blueprint.

Cobalt Loot Lab combines configurable loot tables, a visual A/B simulator and a runtime reward engine in one Unreal Engine plugin. Test up to 200,000 rolls before connecting rewards to your game.

Author and balance

  • Weighted, independent-chance and guaranteed selection modes.

  • Quantity ranges, no-drop entries, nested pools and entry selection without replacement.

  • Gameplay-tag and level conditions, cycle detection and configuration validation.

  • Hard-pity protection that adds a qualifying bonus when due.

  • Reproducible random sessions with saved seed, stream and pity state.

See what players can receive

  • Asynchronous visual simulation with continuous A/B progress, cancellation for both scenarios and clear partial-result status.

  • Item and rarity hit rates, quantities, confidence intervals, empty rolls and dry streaks.

  • Reward-gap histogram and the first 30 rolls for inspection.

  • Searchable HTML reports, CSV, JSON and commandlet automation.

  • JSON table import/export with validation and Undo support.

Version 1.0.2 improvements

New offline HTML Quick start guide with navigation, an integration checklist and linked example reports, opened directly from the workbench. Includes the earlier unity-build fix, continuous A/B progress, clear cancellation/failure messages and stale-result notices. Reward rules and saved-state formats remain compatible with 1.0.0.

Connect it to your game

Use the Blueprint function library, Loot Lab Component or reward-source actors. Results expose item identifiers, rarity, quantity, source entry and optional soft item/icon references. SaveGame helpers preserve the random sequence and pity counters. One-shot sources guard against duplicate claims.

Included

  • Six loot tables: chest with pity, baseline chest, enemy, quest, equipment and unique draft.

  • Three executable Blueprint reward examples: chest, enemy and quest.

  • Interactive playground map with roll, reset and save/load controls.

  • Full C++ source and English installation, integration, rules and API documentation.

Compatibility and scope

Tested with Unreal Engine 5.8.0 on Windows 64-bit. Modules: CobaltLootLab (Runtime) and CobaltLootLabEditor (Editor). No subscription, API key, external service or paid dependency is required. Open Tools > Cobalt Loot Lab in Unreal Editor.

The plugin returns reward data for your inventory and gameplay logic. Inventory/equipment UI, replicated inventory, quests and online persistence are not included. Require Authority defaults on; your game supplies RPCs and item replication. Soft references are returned without automatically loading or spawning assets.

Pity respects context filters. If no qualifying reward is eligible, pity remains pending. Nested tables use the root table’s pity policy during a root roll.

Gallery images show the actual UE 5.8 workbench, Windows Shipping playground and measured simulation results. The cover chest and crystals are illustrative artwork; no chest meshes or icon pack are included.
