Unreal Engine plugin to run Unreal Engine mobile VR projects on iOS and Android devices using Google Cardboard headsets. The plugin integrates the new official Google Cardboard SDK.

Simply enabling the plugin is enough to start building and running your mobile VR experience on any Google Cardboard supported mobile device and viewer.

Main features
  • compatible with iOS and Android devices;

  • head tracking;

  • stereoscopic rendering;

  • support for user interaction via the "viewer button";

  • native and customisable UI overlay to allow the user to:

    • enable/disable the stereoscopic mode;

    • scan the QR code to automatically configure the parameters of its Google Cardboard viewer.

  • customisable device parameters;

  • all the features are available from both Blueprints and C++.

User interactions with the "viewer button" are proovided as standard touch inputs.

User interactions with the UI overlay are notified by delegates, while the UI overlay can be customized from the Project Settings and also at run-time.

Licensing

This Plugin is licensed "per-user", according to the Fab End User License Agreement. This means that one license must be purchased for each user working on a project that utilizes the Plugin.
