MAKE DESTRUCTION PART OF YOUR GAME

ShatterKit Pro helps you create walls that can be breached, cover that can be chipped away, props that break apart, mining and digging effects, precision cuts, and cinematic destruction—all while your game is running.

Start with ordinary Static Mesh, ISM, or HISM geometry. The main workflow does not require pre-fracturing every asset or creating a separate destruction data asset.

QUICK TO SET UP

Take a trace or impact Hit Result and connect it to Request Destruction (Hit). Ready-made presets give you useful starting points for projectiles, explosions, breaches, precision cuts, performance-focused effects, network play, rubble, and cinematic scenes. Every setting can still be adjusted to fit your game.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Cut holes, add geometry, or keep only the intersecting area at runtime.

• Use built-in cutter shapes or your own Static Mesh as the destruction tool.

• Turn ordinary Static Meshes and the exact ISM/HISM instance you hit into a destructible result without replacing neighboring instances.

• Keep repeated hits useful in the same area with an optional live-surface targeting setting.

• Split disconnected sections into separate pieces, keep important pieces in the world, or clean them up automatically.

• Rebuild collision when needed and choose how detached pieces behave.

• Create debris from removed material, including optional Voronoi-style fractured pieces generated at the moment of impact.

• Preserve multiple materials, texture scale, and clean shading through repeated damage.

• Queue heavy destruction work so rapid impacts can be handled more smoothly.

• Optionally simplify only meshes above a triangle-count limit you choose, helping you control performance without reducing smaller meshes.

• Support multiplayer destruction with compact, repeatable events and client-side visual debris.

BLUEPRINT FRIENDLY, C++ READY

Most projects can begin with one Blueprint node and a Hit Result. Included presets and editable example Blueprints make it easy to learn by changing working examples. Full source and C++ access are included for teams that want deeper control.

Explore ready-to-run examples for a destruction lab, target practice, repeated impacts, thin and hollow objects, Nanite conversion, explosions, large-scale level design, PCG buildings, instanced geometry, performance testing, and more. All customer-facing examples use ShatterKit Pro content and built-in Unreal Engine assets.

GOOD TO KNOW

Runtime destruction changes real mesh geometry, so performance depends on the source mesh, hit frequency, collision settings, and target hardware. ShatterKit Pro includes presets, queues, debris controls, and optional threshold-based simplification to help you tune each scene. For gameplay-critical fragments in multiplayer, keep authoritative state on the server.
