The character was setup using Modular Control Rig in Unreal 5.5.1

Make sure to enable Control Rig in Plugin so you can see the rig

  • Update (06/11/2025): included separated FBX files (skeletal meshes and animations)

  • Update (29/09/2025): Animation blueprint added https://youtu.be/Y75RUNk51Xc (A small game is setup with Blueprint and input mapping (just for fun). Be noted that this is just for BP demo and is not supported)

  • Update (28/02/2025): fixed the Head IK and Feet IK not following the Main ControlsUpdate (30/03/2025):

  • Updated the Modular Rig to work with Unreal 5.5.4

  • Update (23/04/2025): fixed Head pop back to original position when saving the Level Sequence

  • Update (12/08/2025): update the Modular Rig to work with Unreal 5.6.0

Important:

  • The model is using UDIM textures, so please turn on Enable Virtual Texture Support in the Project Settings

  • Due to the current limitation of the Modular Control Rig from Unreal. There is no Backward Solving yet (i.e. using the control to drive the bone)

Drag the rig into Unreal viewport and start animating.
