This is a simple geometry node setup that generates a chain along any curve. Copy the "Customizable Chain Links" modifier to any curve. Create custom chain links in a new collection then select the folder in the modifiers "Chain Collection" tab. Use the "Set Material" input in the Geometry Nodes tab to apply a texture to the final product.
