A Marble Statue of Aphrodite (Aphrodite, Roman name Venus), unearthed in the city of Argos on the Peloponnese Peninsula, was created in the 1st century BC. It was exhibited at the "Beauty in Diversity - Ancient Greek Art and Life" special exhibition at the National Museum of China.

### Details of the Work

1. Image and Posture

The goddess stands firmly on the base with her right foot, her left leg bent forward, and her left foot lightly resting on a goose. Her dress (chima pure) is partially draped, revealing her chest. The folds of the dress flow smoothly and thickly, naturally falling with the body's movement, creating a tense twisting posture.
