Makasi: State Driven Character Movement Controller - Modular First Person Controller
Makasi is a First Person Movement System created for both realistic and arcade style gameplay.
Inspired by the inventors of parkour, Yamakasi, this asset aims to create a highly-modular and customizable system. Designed with a State-Driven Pattern, each movement mode is its separate state, thus enabling easy scalability and giving the user freedom to further develop new movement states if needed.

Features:
Crouching - Dynamic and customizable crouch system, fixing many issues with the conventional approaches.
Sliding - Momentum based sliding. The angle of the slope affects the slides direction and speed.
Wall Running - Dynamic wall detection wall running. Supports curved walls.
Climbing - Edge climb with cliff detection systems.
Vaulting - Dynamic obstacle detection. Vaulting on obstacles and barriers. Procedural camera vault animation and movement according to the obstacles dimensions. Carries the player's speed over after vaulting.
Technical Details:
Makasi is developed with a state driven architecture in mind to further enable the scalability and the easy of use. Each type of movement is seperated into different Blueprint Components as;

The state driven system allows the user to create new states easily and create operations including the states.
