Animated lid via Geometry Nodes
Each bin has a Geometry Nodes modifier (lid_open) with a Lid slider:

• 0 = closed, 1 = fully open

• Keyframeable for animation

• Every copy can have its own lid position, which is ideal for placing many bins with varied states
