SynTerra is a powerful tool that enables users to generate any location on the planet using high-resolution satellite data. The plugin offers a one-click solution for accessing the entire globe.

No prior GIS knowledge is required, and users don't need to collect or purchase any geospatial data, SynTerra delivers it directly from cloud storage to the project.

SynTerra supports World Geodetic System (WGS) standard and fully compatible with Cesium plugin, it generates geo-referenced landscapes directly within the local project. In the plugin settings, users can choose between local coordinates or a geodetic projection in latitude/longitude format.

A constant internet connection is no longer required. With the SynTerra plugin, all generated content can be stored locally on the user’s computer, ensuring fully cybersecure access to the project for any purpose.

User's Guide

SynTerra features a user-friendly interface. After registering, when you launch the plugin, a window displaying a world map will appear.

• You can zoom in and out using the scroll wheel. To move the map, hold down the left mouse button and drag.

To select the area of interest (tile) to be generated, simply left click on the desired tile of the terrain; it will turn orange. To deselect it, click the tile again.

• To generate the area of interest, simply click the "Generate tiles" button, and the selected tile of the terrain will appear in the project.

• The generated tile of the terrain will appear as an .uasset containing the corresponding GIS data, including an elevation data and satellite images.

• SynTerra supports the integration of imagery and elevation layers into a project from the local drive.

• Important: Local imagery and elevation data must be in EPSG:4326 (WGS 84 datum) and GeoTiff format.

• Please note that users can download up to five tiles per day. Once this daily limit is reached, the ability to generate additional tiles will become available again after 24 hours.
