Bothrocaryum controversum (Common Name: Giant Dogwood)​​

The Giant Dogwood is an elegant deciduous tree, highly cherished for its unique form and ornamental value. Its most distinctive feature is its ​whorled​ branches, which grow in spreading, horizontal tiers, creating a layered silhouette reminiscent of a traditional lampstand, hence its Chinese name "Dēngtái Shù" (Lampstand Tree).
