The artwork is generated with AI tools, then every single sprite is reviewed and finished by hand in Photoshop - artifact repair, color correction, consistent framing and palette, transparency cutouts, correct sizing and clean file naming. Anything that doesn't meet the bar gets regenerated or fixed by hand.

💡 Notes

Every file is named <character>_<expression>, so switching an expression in code is a single string swap. All six expressions of a character share the same framing and baseline, so swapping never shifts the sprite on screen. The portraits are cropped to head and shoulders and stay readable at small sizes, while the facesets follow the RPG Maker MV/MZ layout in the order neutral, smile, sad, angry, surprised, thoughtful.
