Let me present to your attention a model of the first VHS video cassette recorder. Initially, I've modelled it for a challenge, but then my time was limited. So I've decided to refine it for my own pleasure. In general, I enjoy modelling retro devices. In addition, I've managed to find excellent references for one model, apparently supplied to Canada. So I tried to reproduce almost all damages and signs of wear. Besides the standard set of tools (Blender, Marmoset, Substance Painter, Photoshop) I used Substance Designer to create materials. For example, the wood surface that you see in the final renderings. I hope you enjoy this work of art with me.
