📍 Location: Surdegis Narrow-Gauge Railway Station, Anykščiai District, Lithuania

📸 Capture Method: High-detail photogrammetry model created from 374 photographs.

🧩 Description:
This detailed 3D model captures the historic railway water tower that once supplied steam locomotives operating on Lithuania's renowned Aukštaitija narrow-gauge railway.

The elevated steel structure consists of a riveted cylindrical water tank mounted on a tall lattice framework, complete with maintenance platforms, ladders, safety railings, discharge hopper, and the characteristic swinging water delivery pipe used for refilling locomotive tenders. Decades of weathering have produced authentic layers of rust, oxidized steel, worn paint, and industrial patina, faithfully preserved through photogrammetry.

Created from 374 photographs, the model accurately documents both the engineering details and the natural aging of this increasingly rare piece of railway infrastructure. Rather than reconstructing an idealized version, the model preserves the structure exactly as it exists today, contributing to the long-term digital preservation of Lithuania's industrial and railway heritage.

Ideal for railway museums, historical visualizations, industrial environments, simulation projects, restoration reference, virtual exhibitions, and educational applications.

🎯 Applications:
Railway heritage, industrial heritage, museum exhibitions, historical documentation, simulation, game development, virtual tourism, restoration reference, education, and digital preservation.

💾 Included Formats:
FBX, OBJ, GLTF, GLB, USDZ

📸 Processed using RealityScan from 374 photographs.
