Does your project need a good-looking colour selector?
Are you searching for a colour wheel for an architectural visualization presentation that gives users real freedom to explore and select colours from the full colour spectrum? At some point, many projects arrive at the same question: why isn’t there a nice, modular, and customizable colour picker that is easy to use and easy to modify? This asset is designed to be that solution.
This colour picker is created entirely from scratch using Blueprints. No programming skills are required, no C++ is involved, and there are no hidden systems working in the background. Everything is open, readable, and structured in a way that makes sense. You can freely open the Blueprints and modify any part of the system, or you can simply choose one of the six prebuilt presets and start using it right away.
Because the system is fully Blueprint-based and procedural, every element of the colour picker is modular by design. You are free to change the colour probe, adjust its shape, apply custom textures, or use prepared visual templates such as clean minimal probes or more stylized sci-fi designs. All visual effects are created inside material nodes, making it easy to tweak or extend the look without breaking the system. These blueprints were created professionally; tick is used only when there is a human interaction; all the time, these blueprints are in passive listening mode.
The colour picker comes with three different closing animations, each designed to feel natural and unobtrusive in a UI environment. The Wipe animation fades the widget linearly from the selected side. The Swipe animation slides the widget away in the chosen direction. The Fade Away animation provides a classic UI close effect where the widget gently scales down while fading out. All animations are material-based, can be disabled if not needed, and can be replaced with your own custom animation logic.
All setup parameters are exposed directly at the widget root level. This makes configuration fast and straightforward, allowing you to focus on visual polish and user experience rather than navigating complex Blueprint graphs.
The system is fully modular, scalable, and editable, making it a comfortable fit for architectural visualization, simulations, games, and any project where a flexible and visually consistent colour selection tool is needed.
Whether you plan to use it out of the box or adapt it to your own visual style, this colour picker is designed to grow with your project, giving you a solid and reliable foundation for colour selection without unnecessary complexity.
