AstraBake Plugin for Unreal Engine

Bake MetaHuman animation into clean skeletal bone animation for export to Blender.

AstraBake is built for simulation and technical art pipelines, not high-fidelity facial-performance playback inside Unreal.

Its purpose is to generate clean, dependable bone animation for downstream work such as cloth, hair, fluid and secondary motion simulation.

It is a lightweight Unreal Engine editor plugin built for a simple, fast baking workflow, especially where RigLogic may not be available or desirable.

it is primarily designed and tested for Blender Export workflows. It may also work in other DCC tools, but Blender is the only DCC currently tested.

AstraBake is primarily aimed at MetaHuman facial animation workflows, but it also works with body meshes (and other compatible meshes) that use the same MetaHuman skeleton.
