In this animation pack, we offer you an original moveset of strikes with the Gunshu-type stick, a carbon fiber stick used for competition in Kung Fu Wushu, which originated in China. Although based on a real martial art, we have sometimes taken liberties with the combos we offer. The animation pack consists of 61 animations. Among them are 10 movement animations, including 4 LOOPs, and 49 attack combos or single strikes. This original moveset consists of strikes that are sometimes quite realistic and sometimes more fanciful, with the main emphasis on the overall dynamism of the animations. All of the motion capture was performed by professional stuntwoman Ninon Clerc. In addition, each of the animations has been manually retouched and finalized, always with a view to their use in an action video game where combat is paramount and requires a certain level of responsiveness. All animations have been recorded and retouched in 60FPS.
Please note that only the animations are sold; no backgrounds are provided with the purchase. The 3D model is for aesthetic and technical purposes only. You may need to make a few minor adjustments to ensure that the animation matches your characters correctly. Be sure to watch our “Close Look” video, which shows you all the animations, before making your purchase. Also, regarding the files themselves, please note that UE4 animations will be of the “Asset Package” type, whereas UE5 animations are additional files that you simply need to drag and drop into your project. Please note that the animations are originally created and baked onto a custom skeleton, then retargeted to the UE4 skeleton using custom tools; in UE5, the UE4 skeleton is then retargeted directly to the UE5 skeleton. The UE5 FBX files are provided in the pack.
As for the animation of the stick, it has been transferred to the IK bone right.
