Lore: (ONLY FICTIONAL)
Name: Stallion-Class ABC Assault Droid (codename: “The Balboanator” or simply “Balboa Unit”)
Around 2020 the world collapsed into World War III. Nation-states fractured, conventional armies burned out fast, and the battlefield filled with competing power armors, mechs, and autonomous combat platforms. The United States needed something that could wade into that meat grinder and keep walking when everything else had already been reduced to scrap. They built the Stallion-Class ABC Assault droid. It was never meant to be elegant or fast. It was engineered as a pure heavy-duty warframe: layered composite armor, redundant drive systems, and a chassis that could absorb catastrophic punishment—explosions, kinetic penetrators, energy weapons, chemical agents, radiation—and still advance. Where lighter units would lock up or shut down, the Stallion-Class simply shrugged off the damage and kept moving forward, one relentless step at a time. The “ABC” designation reflected its original design brief: systems hardened against atomic, bacterial, and chemical environments so it could operate in the absolute worst zones of the war. The “Stallion” part of the name was an internal project nickname that stuck—an open nod to the old idea of a fighter who refuses to stay down, no matter how hard the hits land. Combined with its cold, single-minded persistence, the whole package earned the quieter field moniker “Balboanator” among the crews who maintained them: part unbreakable boxer, part unstoppable machine, part old-school war robot built for the dirtiest possible fight. In short, it was America’s answer to the armored and robotic arms race of WW3: a heavily armored, heavy-duty war droid that took everything the enemy could throw at it and kept coming.
