الوصف

Create an escape maze, a timed obstacle course, or a key-and-door puzzle with a layout you can reproduce and reuse. Epic Maze Generator for UEFN combines five generation algorithms, two original art themes, carved rooms, configurable openings, and animated doors in a complete editable Verse project.

BUILD YOUR MAZE

  • Five algorithms: Backtracker, Prim, Kruskal, Recursive Division and Growing Tree.

  • Independent width and height from 1–40 cells, including rectangular mazes.

  • Difficulty and density controls for route-length presets and optional loops.

  • Repeatable, versioned layouts from a saved configuration and seed.

  • Up to 16 exact automatic rooms with configurable dimensions, plus explicit room rectangles. Invalid requests report an error instead of silently omitting rooms.

  • 1–8 entrances and 1–8 exits with cyan and green threshold markers.

  • Original Ice and Cyberpunk maze art and matching interactive parts.

MAKE THE ROUTE INTERACTIVE

  • Timed doors with configurable movement, warning, open and closed times.

  • Themed switch terminals and reachable key objectives before locked crossings.

  • Per-door controls by default, or one shared control for a group.

  • Sliding doors, below-floor retracting doors with coordinated covers, or alternating motion.

  • Automatic or manual requests up to 16 doors. The BUILT readout shows actual versus requested crossings.

  • Untimed escape and a three-minute time trial, with completion events for your own game logic.

Player-clearance checks can delay or reverse a closing door. Required-door routing and openings are checked before the current maze is replaced.

CONFIGURE, PLACE AND REUSE

The five-page creator console brings Layout, Rooms, Doors, Entrances & Exits, and Placement & Reuse together. Compare configurations, inspect an overview, preview doors and controls, and print a complete saved-layout recipe.

Move or rotate the complete generated maze during play, then transfer its recipe and transform to a placed generator for permanent reuse. Duplicate saved generators to create separate mazes and assign each one’s staging and example-device references. Runtime changes and generated pieces are not automatically saved into the editor.

Editable Details settings cover ordinary configuration. Full Verse source, public operations and events, creator permissions and runtime diagnostics support deeper integration.

  • Five-page creator console and overview/close camera examples.

  • 12 documentation files, including the offline HTML creator guide.

  • Detailed narrated tutorial and cinematic feature tour.

REQUIREMENTS AND SCOPE

Requires UEFN and Fortnite with Scene Graph enabled. Developed with UEFN 42.20; Scene Graph is an Epic Beta feature. This is a separate product with a new Verse implementation. It does not require the legacy Unreal Engine generator, Static Maze Pack, C++, Python, MCP or third-party runtime libraries.

Interactive doors require cells at least 350 cm wide. Sliding doors need a clear side pocket. Retracting and alternating doors also need underfloor clearance—approximately 3 m at the default 300 cm wall height. Keep surrounding scenery outside the moving assemblies.

Generation occurs during the match. Save device settings and a recipe to reproduce a layout; this release does not bake generated geometry into editable editor pieces. Door count is limited by safe crossings, and unsuitable room/opening requests are rejected clearly.

Start at 10×10 and profile your complete island on its target hardware. The 40×40 input limit is not a frame-rate guarantee. The documented test scope is one Windows client; multiplayer, late joining, consoles, mobile and Performance Mode are not certified. The included creator lab allows everyone to edit; new generator devices default to creator access Disabled.

CONTENT DISCLOSURE

Product content is publisher-owned or uses standard Epic/Fortnite resources. Generative AI tools assisted creation. Player cosmetics visible in gameplay are not included assets.

The first two gallery images reuse our original Unreal Engine Ice and Cyberpunk art showcases. Their presentation scenery is not included; the remaining feature images and tutorial show the UEFN implementation.
