A kitchen is one of the noisiest rooms in a house, and this library covers it from end to end. 344 SFX - Everyday Kitchen is a large foley collection covering cooking activity, appliance sounds, and object handling across a kitchen in full use.

The food preparation section is the most detailed. Chopping on a wooden board covers onions at different tempos, lettuce, tomato, sausage, and banana. Sizzling sounds give you burger, cheese, and oil in a pan at different stages of cooking. Squeezing ingredients, ripping packaging, peeling, and washing vegetables add the surrounding texture of active cooking. Eating sounds cover biting and chewing a burger, hot dog, and sub sandwich.

The microwave section is covered in depth, including running sequences at several lengths, button presses with and without beep feedback, door open and close, glass plate movements, and knob turns. Fridge and freezer sounds cover door interactions and rummaging through the interior. Kettle boiling, a boiler starting and running, washing machine door and end-of-cycle sounds, and oven hum add further appliance coverage. Kitchen object foley includes glassware pick-up and put-down on two surface types, a cast iron pan, wooden utensils, a bread bin, an old biscuit tin, and rummaging through a cluttered junk drawer.
