Enable the plugin and open /VRSportsTemplate/Maps/L_Home. The sports maps, equipment, Epic-derived player and hands, input contexts and sound effects are included inside the plugin.

Sports and controls

  • Basketball with grabbable supply balls, assisted throws, rebounds and ball-return surfaces.

  • Bowling with 8, 12 and 16 lb balls, optional bumpers, an animated pinsetter, ball return and overhead scoreboard.

  • Darts with physical throws, board hit scoring and an editable pinch grip.

  • Tennis and table tennis with moving racket opponents, continuous practice feeds and varied-placement challenge mode.

  • Three-hole golf with driver, iron and putter, early teleport toward the predicted stopping area and lost-ball recovery.

  • Controller-driven OpenXR hands, teleport locomotion and a shared activity menu with a Home return in every map.

Customization

Use child Blueprints and editable Data Assets. Eleven grip workbench maps let you preview both hands and adjust equipment position, rotation and hand pose in the editor without wearing a headset. Change sport tuning, equipment meshes, sound variations and destination maps without editing C++.

Included

  • Six separate activity maps, a Home menu and an asset overview map.

  • Eleven grip profiles and matching editor workbenches.

  • 137 static meshes, two Epic hand skeletal meshes and 23 animation assets.

  • 186 Sound Waves organized into 82 editable sound event families.

  • Full C++ source, an illustrated PDF guide, controller guide and sound catalog.

Technical information

Unreal Engine 5.8, built with 5.8.2. Two Runtime modules: VRSportsTemplate and VRSportsInput. Development platform: Windows. Runtime targets: Win64 and Android. Network replicated: No.

Required Epic plugins: EnhancedInput, XRBase, OpenXR, Text3D, ACLPlugin, AnimationData, ControlRig, InterchangeAssets and Niagara. No external runtime service is required. The supplied controls are documented for Quest-style controllers.

This is a single-player gameplay template with assisted interactions and simplified sport rules. It does not include multiplayer, full competitive tennis scoring or optical hand tracking. The maps use dynamic lighting and conventional meshes with one LOD; the overview is an editor inspection map. Choose rendering settings for your target device; no headset frame-rate guarantee is advertised.
