Weapons have played a significant role in Kazakh history and culture, serving in both warfare and survival. The hunting knife before you, crafted with modern technology, encapsulates traditional Kazakh style. This blend of historical design and contemporary craftsmanship honors Kazakh heritage while ensuring relevance and functionality today.

The handle is made from solid wood, and the guard is steel, intricately carved with Oyus patterns. The blade features an engraving of the Barys (snow leopard), a sacred symbol of strength and luck essential for hunting.

This knife, provided by my father, posed challenges during scanning due to its reflective surfaces. Adhering to safety measures was key to success. The experience gained is invaluable for future endeavors, especially in scanning museum-quality artifacts.
