
Description
This is a tree pack made with up close visual fidelity as a priority while still keeping within the strict budget limitations of current day games. Perfect if you are building an ultra realistic VR experience or FPS game. It contains 20 different spruces of all different sizes along with a set of meshes(scatter, rocks, cliffs) to help flesh out your scene.The focus has been to make each tree believable and unique but still reusable
Everything used to create the example images is included in the pack, along with the demo scene in the images.
Each tree comes complete with LODs, Collision and billboards.
The Pack also comes with a new, easy to use wind shader that requires no setup in the form of vertex paint or baking pivots, instead it works of the bounding volume of the asset so its plug and play on any pretty much any foliage mesh (At least that I have tried so far!)
Wind is set up with quality levels so Epic and High uses the full on fancy shader, Medium uses a cheaper, more basic calculation for the detail movement and Low only keeps the basic large sway movement to keep the cost down. The wind is controlled through a Blueprint called BP_PGWeatherControl.
You need to place this in your level to have control over Wind Strength and Wind Direction.
