Documentation (Tutorials, Release Notes):

Features:

  • Beginner friendly, all done with blueprints and have been commented and properly arranged.

  • Up to three splines, simulating a three-axis camera system, with call-in-editor functions to quickly copy, disable and reset splines.

  • You can bind multiple triggers of different shapes (box, sphere, capsule, etc) to a camera.

  • Entrances can be added, the character will move to the nearest one once overlapping.

  • The camera can track (look at) the character and also pre-track (before overlapping) it if needed.

  • Includes a Use Last View Target feature to ensure that the movement input will not be interrupted when switching cameras.

  • Flexible transition between cameras (smooth blend in & out or instant switch).

  • The rotation (roll, pitch, yaw) of the camera can be clamped as needed, and you can refer to angle visualizers in the built-in debugging system to adjust them.

  • Real-time obstacle fade with customizable translucent material.

  • Two move types for the character, one based on the control rotation, and another one based on its own actor rotation (like the tank control).

  • Build in detailed debugging system for developers.
