Generate hip roofs directly inside Unreal Engine.

Procedural Hip Roof Generator is a focused UE5 plugin for creating practical hip roof geometry from building footprints using PCG workflows. It is built for developers, technical artists, and environment artists who need fast, repeatable roof generation for houses, villages, towns, and procedural building systems.

Instead of manually modelling every roof variation, define your footprint and let the plugin generate the roof structure for you. The system is designed to fit into PCG-based workflows and can be used as part of a larger procedural house or city generation pipeline.


Custom Nodes:
- Footprint Offset Points (offsets or insets the original footprint points)
- Roof Solver (receives original or offset footprint points, and outputs ridge skeleton and roof topology points)
- Create Roof Dynamic Mesh (receives the roof topology and builds the mesh)

- Assign Roof Dynamic Mesh Material (receives materials as input and assigns to the roof mesh)

- Create Roof Gutter Splines (Creates splines around the roof and down specified corners)
- Sample Roof Surface Points (Receives roof topology and allows to sample points perfectly aligned with the roof faces, great for roof props such as solar panels, antennas, chimney, dust, leaves, etc.)

This first release focuses specifically on hip roofs. It is not a full building generator and does not try to support every roof style. Its purpose is to solve one common production problem well: generating usable hip roofs quickly and consistently.
