GT-VBAO is a native C++ implementation of Ground Truth Visibility Bitmask Ambient Occlusion for Unreal Engine 5. It uses a visibility bitmask algorithm with cosine weighted hemisphere sampling to produce occlusion that is physically accurate and closely matches the output of a brute force ray marcher, while remaining viable for real-time use.
