### 50 wood surface details for UE5 — deferred decals, parallax materials, ready to drag and drop
The WoodDetail Decal Pack Vol.1 ships a standalone Unreal Engine 5 Environment Preset project containing 50 wood-grain surface details — set up as deferred decal actors with the full PBR map set, ready to migrate into your own UE5 project.
The same 50 designs are also available for Blender, Substance Painter, and ZBrush, but the Unreal package is the primary Fab lane.
### What you get in the Unreal package
- `.uproject` — opens directly in UE5.3 and later.
- `.umap` — demo level with all wood decals laid out and labelled.
- 50 deferred decal actors — drag into your own level for instant placement.
- Master materials + 50 Material Instances — tweak via parameters, no shader graph editing required.
- 6 PBR maps per design: BaseColor, Normal (OpenGL), Roughness, Height, AmbientOcclusion, Opacity.
- Colour-curve setup pre-wired on the master materials — tune one decal to your target wood tone and copy parameters across the other 49.

### How to use the wood decals
1. Download and unzip the Unreal package to a short path (long Windows paths break Unreal asset loading).
2. Open the `.uproject` — shaders compile on first open.
3. Open the demo `.umap` to inspect the layout.
4. Right-click the WoodDetail Content folder → Migrate → point at `YourProject/Content/`.
5. Drag the migrated decal actors into your own level. Done.

- Knots and grain runs breaking up seamless wood textures.
- Log ends for stacked-timber walls, fences, fortifications.
- Weathered marks on wooden doors, signs, gates, barrels.

### Stylized realism (not photoreal)
Designed to read clearly at game distance and pair well with hand-painted or PBR-stylized environments. Not 3D scans — production-clean, controllable, fast.
### Pack-specific brush guide
A 13-page PDF brush guide ships with the pack covering all four software lanes and four use-modes (decal, parallax, displacement, sculpt brush).
### AI-assisted note
PBR maps in this pack were authored using Substance Sampler as part of the production pipeline. All assets were curated, packaged, and quality-checked by 3D Tudor.

Commercial use included: Commercial use is included in every paid tier for one creator. Choose the Studio / Team License only if multiple people inside a company or team need internal access to the files.
Permitted: The pack is for using the assets in your own artwork, games, films, client work, portfolio work, and commercial projects.
Prohibited: The source files may not be resold, redistributed, repackaged, uploaded publicly, or included as raw downloadable resources inside another template, tool, brush pack, decal pack, texture pack, or marketplace product.
