Elderwood Shaman is a completely game-ready playable character ready to be integrated into your projects
The character is rigged with the Epic Skeleton hierarchy and comes with a third-person ready blueprint.
Elderwood Shaman contains extra bones for parts of the mesh. These include both Skulls, Small Crow Skull, Knife Holder and Head Rings. The mesh also contains a bone for the Knife which can be used to pull out the object at any time.
The character is also dynamically rigged. This means that all extra bones on the character are animated at runtime using physics, so you do not need to animate any of these bones manually. They are extremely performance-friendly and hardly take up any frame rate.
The character is also Metahuman compatible. The transformation to a metahuman character can be found in the documentation. We've also included a Texture corresponding to the metahuman face UVs to integrate with the character
The character is quite light and can be used in many different scenarios. The hair is a groom (not hair cards) so the project does require the Groom plug-in to be enabled to work (the plug-in is already integrated into the engine by default), as well as the Support Compute Skin Cache in the project settings to be enabled.
The Shaman has tile-able micro details on his skin and clothes so close-up shots work extremely well on him.
The Groom assets also have LODs, so only very close-up shots use the LOD0 for the groom assets, which might cause some slight performance issues.
