Editor-only Unreal Engine 5.7 plugin for Windows/Win64.

The plugin adds a Substance Painter Bridge workflow for Static Mesh assets. It exports selected Static Meshes from the Content Browser as FBX, launches Adobe Substance 3D Painter, writes a bridge manifest, and imports/reimports exported PBR textures back into Unreal.

Imported texture maps:

BaseColor, Normal DirectX, OcclusionRoughnessMetallic packed ORM, Emissive, and Opacity.

ORM channel layout:

Red = Ambient Occlusion

Green = Roughness

Blue = Metallic

The plugin automatically creates and updates material instances per mesh/material slot.

It uses an opaque master material by default and switches to a masked master material only when an opacity map is exported. Normal maps and ORM/Opacity maps are configured with correct compression and sRGB settings.

The Painter integration is installed from inside Unreal via the Tools menu. Adobe Substance 3D Painter is not included and must be installed/licensed separately by the user.

Limitations:

One active auto-sync asset at a time.

Auto-sync runs from Painter to Unreal when the Painter project is saved.
