This is an easy to use and polished system for adding spike traps to your game, for implementing it in your own project you can simply drag and drop trap blueprint and they will start work with any character with any mesh, you just have to select your skeletal mesh and check "generate overlap events" and set the collision preset to physic actor, just to make sure traps detect your character
This system uses a few functions, events, and event dispatchers that are properly commented and easy to understand for making adjustments, but if you want to make significant changes so that it's no longer a spike trap, or if you only want to extract the 'Impale' functionality to create customized Impale death effects, please consider purchasing the 'Impale system' instead.
