The Blink Afterimage system contains actor components and visual effects to creates afterimages for characters during teleportation or high-speed movement. This effect can also be utilized to produce a general mirage-like appearance.

The sword and animations in the videos and screenshot are NOT INCLUDED in the asset.

Key Features:

• Two Actor Components:

  • MirageDistortion Component: Applies the unique afterimage effect to any actor.

  • AfterimageTeleport Component: Extends the visual effect by handling teleportation, and allows the character to appear elsewhere while leaving an afterimage behind.

• Tweakable

  • Each component has a list of parameters that you can use to tweak the effect to your liking.

This system is designed for easy integration, and also works with the Sequencer.
