Descrizione

PCGEx Pro

Every PCGEx extension in a single plugin, full free core included.

PCGEx Pro is the complete and growing PCGEx ecosystem in one install: the free core plus every Pro extension built on it:
- PCGEx + Valency assembles modular structures from bonding rules (WFC and socket-based workflows),
- PCGEx + Cluster Sketch puts clusters in your hands directly,
- PCGEx + ZoneGraph converts clusters into connected ZG roads and polygons in a single node.

Each is a full plugin in its own right, with its own scope and audience.

One purchase covers them all, current and future: as new extensions are released they join the bundle, and existing owners receive them through rolling updates at no extra cost.

⚠️ Pro replaces the free plugin. Only one copy of the core can exist in the editor: if you upgrade from free to Pro, uninstall the free version before reopening your project. Not just disable: uninstall.

I highly recommend to request source access upon purchase and compile the individual plugins for your projects instead if equipped for it : individual addons will compile against the regular FAB PCGEx release.

PCGEx + Valency

A constraint-based modular assembly solver.

Valency builds structures out of modular pieces by reasoning about how those pieces are allowed to meet: define orbitals, bonding rules, and palettes, and it assembles complex structures for you, output as regular PCG points.

- Orbitals - Direction-based bonding: wave function collapse on non-grid layouts.

- Connectors - Socket-based bonding with position, facing, and type matching.

- Modules - Meshes, actors, or whole levels as building pieces.

- PCG-native - Runs inside Unreal's PCG framework and outputs points, so the rest of your graph keeps working.

Made for problems where the pieces are known and the arrangement is not: building interiors, dungeon floors, scaffolding, ...

Valency is Experimental: behaviour can change between versions, and it is currently a better fit for exploration than for anchoring a shipping pipeline.

PCGEx + Cluster Sketch

Handcraft clusters with customizable metadata.

[PLACEHOLDER: docs in progress. Expand with what sketching looks like in the editor, what metadata can be authored, and how sketched clusters flow into PCGEx graphs.]

Cluster Sketch is in Beta: the workflow is in place and usable, with details still being refined.

PCGEx + ZoneGraph

Bridge PCGEx clusters and Unreal's ZoneGraph system.

A single node converts cluster topology into configured ZoneGraph shapes, feeding Mass AI, Smart Objects, and crowd simulation.

- Roads & intersections - Chains become spline roads; junctions with three or more connections become polygon intersections.

- Smart intersections - Polygon radii derived from the connected roads' lane profiles, with per-edge profiles resolved by majority vote.

- Attribute-driven - Every ZoneGraph property can be overridden per point through vertex and edge attributes: radius, routing, lane profiles, tags.

- Path outputs - Optional polygon and road paths for downstream processing or visualization.

PCGEx + ZoneGraph is production ready.

One plugin, several repositories

The single plugin is a packaging constraint, not the real structure. FAB does not allow a plugin to depend on another plugin, so the extensions ship bundled with the core. Behind the bundle, each extension is its own plugin in its own repository, and license holders can get read access to each. If your team only needs one extension, a custom agreement outside FAB can cover exactly that: see Licensing below.

The free core is included, and stays free

Pro embeds the complete free core: 200+ nodes of graphs, pathfinding, sampling, and workflow tools, identical to the open-source release. The core remains MIT-licensed and in active development; nothing moves from it into Pro. It is a complete toolkit on its own, and most users will never need Pro.

Upgrading from the free core

Uninstall the free version (not disable: uninstall), install Pro, reopen your project.
No migration, no redirectors, no project changes.

Studio trials

For studios evaluating Pro against a production pipeline: thirty days of source access, granted on request. You get read access to the private extension repositories: clone, build, and put the extensions through their paces. Reach out from your studio email address, with your GitHub username.

Evaluating solo? Start with the free core : same workflow, same concepts, and FAB's standard refund policy applies to Pro.

Source access

A valid GitHub account is required for any source access.
See Source Access for more infos.
