Update (June 22, 2025)(For UE5.4 or later only): -Fixed an issue where the groom would be misaligned when flying raven using physics simulation in UE5.4 and later.

-Asset naming conventions have been updated to better align with Unreal Engine's recommended guidelines. Examples include:

  • Tex_Example → T_Example (Textures)

  • Mat_Example → M_Example (Materials)

  • Mesh_Example → SK_Example (Skeletal Meshes)

Other asset types have also been updated similarly.Update(July 4, 2022):Groom was added for UE5.

If groom is used in UE5, Rendering -> Optimisation -> Enable Support Compute Skin Cache in the project settings.

This asset is included in the Complete Birds Pack and Complete Animals.

Realistic wing folding pose and flapping motion.

Feather can be changed by four morph targets.

HeadMorph, BackMorph, and ThroatMorph inflates feathers around the head, back and chest respectively.

RandomMorph gives the feathers randomness.
