Description
In this pack, we offer a collection of a wide range of in-house activity animations, such as interactions with furniture, cooking, eating, personal grooming, etc. (more details below). Some scenes have been designed more for gameplay use, with immediate and rapid reactions, while others are more ‘cinematic’ in style (non-interactive). We have tried to be as comprehensive as possible.
All animations are motion-captured; we have used several different mocap systems across all the animations included in this product. In some animations, the fingers are fully animated using deferred motion capture; however, this is not the case for all animations, as most will simply feature animations transitioning from one pose to another. The animations are performed by Stéphane Pfeffer, a seasoned stage actor.
Please note that only the animations are sold; no scenery is included with your purchase. The 3D model is included for aesthetic and technical purposes only. You may need to make a few minor adjustments to ensure the animation fits your character as closely as possible. Please feel free to watch our ‘A Close Look’ video so you can view the animations in full. Also, for the sake of transparency, I would like to point out here that four of the animations in this pack come from our Motion Cast Pack 11 and four from Pack 9. Also, regarding the files themselves, please note that UE4 animations will be of the “Asset Package” type, whereas UE5 animations are additional files that you simply need to drag and drop into your project. Please note that the animations are originally created and baked onto a custom skeleton, then retargeted to the UE4 skeleton using custom tools; in UE5, the UE4 skeleton is then retargeted directly to the UE5 skeleton. The UE5 FBX files are provided in the pack.
