These heavy books are just right if your character needs something to read or perhaps a quick weapon. The dark, thick leather bindings seem to hide centuries of secrets, but honestly, it’s probably just an old cooking book in disguise. Toss them on a dusty altar, use them to make a wizard look clever, or let them serve as sturdy doorstops. The choice is yours.

The Slim Books
Here are three thin books that probably hold either dangerous magic, the kingdom’s dullest tax records, or a dramatic nobleman’s secret diary. They’re definitely charmingly worn. Great for spreading across an alchemist’s table, hiding in a drawer at a shady inn, or lying dusty somewhere for eternity.
