Описание

Bring a rideable personal watercraft into your Unreal Engine project. VR Jet Ski combines an editable ReferenceCraft vehicle with OpenXR handlebar interaction, water physics, a live digital dashboard and desktop controls. Start with the example project, then adapt the artwork and handling to your own experience. Supports PCVR and Native Quest 3.

What you can build with it

  • Ride using OpenXR controller grips and triggers, with handlebar steering, throttle, braking, reverse, engine toggle and rider recentering.

  • Customize paint, engine/wind/water sounds, propulsion, throttle response, steering, stability and sea states using editor settings and Blueprint nodes, without editing C++ source. The guide includes audio replacement, runtime handling profiles and settings-menu recipes.

  • Display live speed, drive state, engine and water-contact information on the included digital instrument screen.

  • Change the hull color through the BodyColor material parameter, including per-vehicle changes at runtime.

  • Use the supplied craft with four mesh LODs, or integrate a replacement mesh using the documented rig, grip and collision workflow.

  • Integrate the vehicle into a native pawn or an existing XR rider setup. Full C++ source and a Blueprint vehicle are included.

Documentation and example project

Read the developer guide for installation, Blueprint integration, inputs, color changes, mesh replacement, dashboard customization, physics tuning, water setup, packaging and troubleshooting. Download the offline HTML documentation.

Download the UE 5.8 example project. Install the VRJetSki plugin separately before opening it. The plugin and example project include the island-and-ocean demo environment, with lighting and player spawn set up. The compiled demos run without an Unreal Engine installation.

Requirements and scope

Unreal Engine 5.8. Windows x64 development; Win64 and Android arm64 runtime. Requires Epic Enhanced Input, XRBase, OpenXR and the Unreal Water plugin.

Quest demo tested on Quest 3. Try the demos on your target hardware; performance and controller compatibility depend on your setup.
