Brush Manager

This Brush Manager tool allows you to model, sculpt, and reshape terrains directly in the level using height textures.
Instead of manually sculpting, you simply drag the brush across the landscape and fine-tune the result in real time using intuitive parameters.

The system is fully texture-driven, meaning you can use any heightmap to generate mountains, hills, slopes, valleys, plateaus, or erosion-style shapes - all with precise control.

⚠️ REQUIRES: Landscape Patch Plugin (must be enabled)

Brush Manager uses Unreal Engine’s Landscape Patch system to model, sculpt, and reshape terrains directly in the level using height textures.

Brush Manager Parameters

  • Enable Brush
    Turns the landscape brush on/off.

  • Height Texture
    The texture used to define the terrain shape.
    You can use any grayscale heightmap.

  • Blend Mode
    Controls how the brush affects existing terrain (e.g. Min / Max behavior).

  • Shape
    Defines the overall influence and contour of the brush.

  • Altitude
    Controls how high or low the terrain is pushed relative to the landscape.

  • Reshape
    Adjusts how strongly the height texture reshapes the terrain.

  • Flatness
    Flattens or preserves surface details.

  • Falloff
    Smooths the edges of the brush for natural transitions.

  • Inverse
    Inverts the height texture effect (useful for carving slopes or valleys instead of raising terrain).
