Descrizione

A product of my studies into various minerals.

Featuring:

  • a game ready version (with 4K textures), with a diffuse, roughness, normal, and displacement maps.

  • Clean UV

  • a low polym version (732 tris) and a full quality displaced model (featured here for preview). Keep in mind the displacement will not work as well on the low-poly model.

  • A procedural version with a procedural material and modifiers, build in Blender 2.93 (will only work in blender) The procedural material works on any model, no UV required.

“Fluorite is the mineral form of calcium fluoride, CaF2. It belongs to the halide minerals. It crystallizes in isometric cubic habit, although octahedral and more complex isometric forms are not uncommon. Pure fluorite is transparent, in visible and ultraviolet light, but impurities usually make it a colorful mineral and the stone has ornamental and lapidary uses. Industrially, fluorite is used as a flux for smelting, and in the production of certain glasses and enamels. “
